Come join this fast-paced intensive designed to demystify the Harold while preserving the magic that has made it one of improv's most celebrated long-form formats. Rather than treating the Harold as a rigid set of rules, we'll explore it as a flexible framework for discovery, collaboration, and authentic play. We'll focus on creating memorable characters and building meaningful relationships that allow the format to become a tool for exploration rather than a checklist to follow. We'll approach the Harold as a format that rewards curiosity, trust, and commitment, allowing connections to emerge naturally through ensemble play rather than by forcing the structure.

NOTE: If the class does not exceed min capacity, I will refund you and get you the next round. This class is capped at 10.

Limited refunds are available. When you secure your spot, you are taking a spot from someone else. As this program is solely run by me, if you end up dropping the class within the first week, you will get a portion of your money back. After the second week if you choose to drop, there are no refunds.

About your instructor:

Adam holds a degree in Theater Education from Columbus State University. Adam has been studying and performing improv since 2006. He began studying at the state theater of Georgia, The Springer Opera House. He then moved on to learn at Whole World Improv in Atlanta before relocating to Chicago, IL. While in Chicago, he completed the training programs at The Second City, iO Chicago, ComedySportz, and The Annoyance Theatre. He performed for years as a member of The Second City National Touring Company before joining the cast of the theater’s historic Mainstage. Adam was also a member of numerous Harold teams at the legendary iO Chicago and was a regular performer in The Annoyance Theatre’s mind-bending show Trigger Happy, which combined mentalism and improv.

Today, Adam splits his time between Germany and Atlanta, GA, where he teaches and performs at Dad’s Garage Theatre. He is a member of Dad’s Garage’s General Company (GenCo), and recently performed in and produced The Improvised Action Movie at Dad’s Garage. When in Germany, Adam teaches workshops for improv theaters throughout the country.
